For a while now, we have been asking God to send people our way who can carry EH's message to the next generation. We were given that opportunity when Lois Hochstatter and I were invited to House of Hope—a home for troubled teens in Orlando,Florida.
I met Sara Trolinger, House of Hope's founder, when I lived in Florida 24 years ago. At that time there was only one Elijah House and one House of Hope. Now they have 10 fully functioning homes for teens and 51 others in process of setting up all across the nation, and we have 11 EH's around the world, as well as dozens of trained referrals and over 200 video school facilitators. Life comes full circle!
In January of this year, Lois and I did a seminar on inner healing basics for some of their leaders from around the country. Most had never heard of EH. Afterward, Sara told me that EH is what they have been looking for!
House of Hope requires parents and teens to participate in three hours of counseling each week. Some of their leaders are anxious to attend our schools to learn more about how to use EH principles in their counseling. They invited one of our people to speak at a conference for teens, and hope to have us do more with them in the future. We look forward to more contact!
